When you know what you need and want it done right.
Family law, estate, and small claims paperwork, prepared and filed by a registered Los Angeles County legal document preparer.
How we approach it
The court forms are public. Filling them out correctly, in the right order, with the right attachments, is the part people pay a lawyer thousands of dollars for.
California allows registered legal document preparers to prepare and file paperwork at a client’s direction. It is the right fit when the decision has already been made and the task is execution: an uncontested divorce, a custody stipulation, a small claims filing, a power of attorney. You tell us what you want. We prepare the documents, review them with you, and file them.
The savings are substantial. A document preparer charges a flat fee for the paperwork, with no hourly billing and no retainer. For routine matters the outcome is identical to what a law office would produce.
Where a matter needs legal advice, our attorney is available in the same office. We will tell you when that line is crossed rather than let you find out at the courthouse.

What people ask us first
- What is the difference between a legal document preparer and a lawyer?
- A legal document preparer prepares and files documents at your direction and explains procedure. A lawyer advises you on what to do and represents you. If your matter needs advice, we say so and our attorney steps in.
- Is my divorce uncontested enough for this?
- If you and your spouse agree on property, support, and custody, or one of you will not respond, yes. If there are real disputes, mediation first is usually the right path, and we offer that too.
- How are fees structured?
- Flat fees per document set, quoted before work starts. Court filing fees are separate and paid to the court.
